At approximately 1:35 a.m., Putnam County sheriff deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Border-Line Deli, located at 182 Fairfield Drive in Patterson.  Upon arrival, Deputy Vincent Dalo observed that the store’s front door and window had been broken and the business had indeed been burglarized. New York State Police troopers on patrol at approximately 9 p.m. on April 14 conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 GMC being driven by Waterbury resident Kurtis Leduc, 36, on I-684 in Southeast for a series of vehicle and traffic law violations. Man Displayed Fake Police Shield In I-84 Stop, State PD Says A Connecticut man is facing charges in Putnam County after allegedly attempting to dupe New York State Police troopers with a fake police ID after he was stopped for a vehicle violation in his Mercedes on I-84 in Southeast. Troopers initiated the stop at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Monday night, when Waterbury resident Robert McLean committed an alleged vehicle and traffic law violation on the interstate.
