A Connecticut contractor has been criminally charged in connection to a trench collapse at a construction site in New York that killed a 46-year-old man, officials announced. Man Dies After Becoming Trapped Under Excavator In Northern Westchester
This story has been updated. A 59-year-old man was killed after an excavator rolled on top of them on a residential Northern Westchester road, police said. The incident happened on Friday, Oct. 27 around 2:15 p.m., when the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded to an excavator rollover on Baptist Church Road.
