A months-long operation into a local narcotics trafficking organization in Northern Fairfield County resulted in four arrests and the seizure of large amounts of drugs and cash, police said. The body of a teen who went missing while swimming in Candlewood Lake in New Milford has been recovered, according to New Milford Mayor Pete Bass. Joshua DaSilva, 17, of New Milford, who went missing while swimming with friends on Monday, May 27, was recovered by the New Milford Police Department and the Newtown Underwater Search and Rescue, said New Milford Police Lt. Double Homicide Suspect Found Dead In Hudson Valley
The suspected killer of a man and a woman in New Milford, Conn., was found dead in his car of an apparent self-inflicted wound about 15 miles away in Dutchess County late Thursday morning. The two were found dead in a truck with a smashed driver’s side window at approximately 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of routes 7 and 55 in New Milford. Man Charged With Burglary In Northern Westchester Domestic Dispute
A 39-year-old man was charged with burglary in Yorktown after entering a home and stealing items during a domestic dispute, according to Yorktown Police. Jamie C. Bradford, of Connecticut, was arrested after police were called to a Yorktown for a domestic dispute from the resident who reported that Bradford had entered his home without permission and stole several items, fleeing before police arrived, police said.
