An allegedly drunk driver attempted to flee the scene of an early morning crash over the weekend before ultimately being apprehended by police in Westchester. An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol shortly after 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 received notification of a multi-car crash near the intersection of Meadow Road and Hutchinson Avenue, with at least one vehicle’s airbags being deployed. A Westchester woman had a gun pulled on her after being side-swiped by another driver on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Police Issue Alert Following Multiple Coyote Sightings In Westchester
While most are fretting over the unabated spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), a village in Westchester is warning of a different potential threat: coyotes. The Scarsdale Police Department issued a warning to area residents after there were multiple coyote sightings in the area of Mamaroneck and Saxon Woods Roads near Meadow Road. Police in Westchester Seize BMW With Improper Plates, No Registration
Police took possession of a BMW when they say its driver had illegal license plates and no registration or insurance. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to Hutchinson Avenue shortly before 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, where there was a report of a disabled motorist near the intersection of Meadow Road at the Hutchinson River Parkway exit.
