A Fire Lieutenant and former Marine who served his city in Westchester for just under thirty years is being mourned after his sudden loss. Mount Vernon Fire Department Lieutenant Ervin "Larry" Oakes died suddenly earlier in the month, the city's police department announced on Friday, April 21. Support is swelling for a New York Marine hoping to raise enough money to purchase a service dog that can help him cope with mental illnesses stemming from his time in service. Ex-Husband Of Popular Hudson Valley TV Reporter Admits To Domestic Violence
The former husband of a popular Hudson Valley television reporter has pleaded guilty in connection to a domestic violence case. Orange County resident Sean Doyle, age 38, of Cornwall, admitted to criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Monday, May 10 in the case connected to News 12's Blaise Gomez.
