Westchester Woman Charged With Attempting To Kidnap Toddler At Hospital ER A Westchester woman is facing charges for allegedly attempting to kidnap a toddler from the emergency room at an area hospital, the County District Attorney announced. Laysha Machado, 28, of Yonkers, was arraigned on charges that include attempted kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child dating back to an incident in February at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers.
