Wayne Kellogg, Former Longtime Harrison High School Music Teacher, 93 Wayne A. Kellogg, 93, formerly of Hannibal passed away December 15, 2024, after a long illness at Seneca Hill Manor after residing at The Gardens in Oswego. He was born in Hannibal, NY to the late Howard and Gertrude Kellogg. Wayne held a lifelong love of music. During his time in high school, he played in several bands and orchestras, entertaining all over the area. He proudly served in the Army from 1952 to 1954, where he played with the USO entertaining fellow service members. A patron of the arts, while he lived in White Plains, Wayne held season tickets for the NYC Opera and Ballet…

MacLeod, who was born in Northern Westchester County, in Mount Kisco, as Allan George See and raised in Pleasantville, was age 90.  He died at his home in Palm Desert, California, after having recent health issues, his family said. MacLeod became nationally known for his role as news writer Murray Slaughter of Minneapolis TV station WJM on CBS-TV's "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" in the early to mid-1970s. Covid-19: SUNY, CUNY To Require Vaccinations For All Students Before Returning To Campus New York State colleges and universities will require COVID-19 vaccinations for students planning to take part in in-person classes in the fall, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced. During a COVID-19 briefing in Manhattan on Monday, May 10, Cuomo issued a vaccine mandate stating that all CUNY and SUNY students will need to be vaccinated before the fall as the state pushes to have all eligible adults take the vaccine.
