Dalisa Wormack, 40, of Newark, was arrested following the attack near Northern Boulevard and Maple Street in Manhasset on Wednesday, March 19, Nassau County Police said. A 76-year-old woman was seated on a bus stop bench shortly after 1 p.m., waiting for a bus, when Wormack punched her numerous times with a closed fist, according to police. Two good Samaritans came to the victim's aid and stopped the attack. The incident happened in Dutchess County on Friday, Feb. 10 at approximately 2:20 p.m. in the parking lot of the Extra Mart located at 2 West Market St. in the village of Red Hook. Local Mayor, Good Samaritans Help Evacuate Residents After Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley A local mayor and good Samaritans helped evacuate residents from a Hudson Valley home after they failed to react to a fire alarm. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 23 in the city of Poughkeepsie.
