Don't Adjust Your Calendar: Unseasonable Stretch Will Lead Into 'Fall Back' Weekend High pressure will bring dry and mild weather for the remainder of the week and into the start of the "Fall Back" weekend, according to the National Weather Service. There will be sunshine and warmer-than-normal temperatures on Wednesday, Nov. 2, with highs  in the mid to upper 60s and calm winds. It will remain mild and mostly sunny each day through the week's end on Saturday, Nov. 5 with some areas of patchy fog in the morning hours at times. Sharp Drop In Temps Will Be Followed By Rare Halloween Blue Moon, Time To Fall Back After a mixed bag of precipitation winds down, there will be a sharp drop in temperatures leading into the "Fall Back" Halloween weekend. Generally, about 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected for parts of the region where there has not been accumulating snow. Snowfall accumulation of between 1 to 3 inches is possible in some spots north of I-84 in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The daytime temperature Friday, Oct. 30 will hold steady in the mid to upper 30s.  There will then be a sharp drop in temps as skies clear overnight, with the low in the mid to upper 20s. Halloween…
