Suspects are at large after allegedly forcing a sleeping woman out of her Mercedes-Benz in Greenwich and stealing the SUV before ditching the vehicle in Bridgeport, police said. According to police, at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, a Greenwich resident was asleep inside her gray 2018 Mercedes SUV on East Putnam Avenue near the intersection of Church Street when she was approached by unknown suspects. Woman Injured When Dragged From Her Vehicle By Carjackers In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County woman who fell asleep in her vehicle was injured when she awoke to find two men dragging her out of the car. The incident took place around 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, when the Greenwich woman was sleeping in her vehicle in the area of East Putnam Avenue and Milbank Avenue, said Greenwich PD Captain Mark E. Zuccerella. The woman woke to the sight of two men removing her from the vehicle, according to Zuccerella. "The victim yelled at the subjects to stop," he said. Woman Accused Of Stealing Political Sign In Greenwich
A woman who has been reportedly been involved in marches in Greenwich was allegedly caught taking a yard sign for a political candidate in the central part of town. Nicole Rincon, 25, was arrested around 11:30 p.m Monday, Oct. 26, at Maple Avenue at East Putnam Avenue, when a police officer saw her take the sign from the area, bending in half and putting it into her vehicle, said Greenwich Police Capt. Company officials in Fairfield County confirmed an employee at the Whole Foods in Greenwich on East Putnam Avenue died Sunday, May 10. A Stamford man is facing charges after his involvement in a fight at a McDonald’s in Greenwich, police say. Greenwich Police say they responded to McDonald’s (1207 East Putnam Avenue) on the report of an altercation on Friday, June 7 around 11:45 a.m. Further investigation revealed that one of the parties involved sustained injuries, police say. Toren Hicks, 40, of Stamford was arrested as a result of his involvement in the altercation, according to police. A teen driving a suspicious vehicle who fled from police during a chase from I-95 was finally caught after a separate chase ended in a crash early Friday morning. Taylin Fraiser, 18, of Hartford, was busted around 3:30 a.m. after Greenwich Police attempted to stop his vehicle in the Byram area, but instead of stopping, he fled on I-95 south into New York, with police ending the chase after a short distance, said Lt.
