Cops Catch Man Illegally Passing Stopped School Bus In Northern Westchester, Police Say A man with a suspended license faces charges after allegedly passing a school bus while it was displaying its stop sign in Northern Westchester, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, April 18 around 2:30 p.m., when police in Yorktown noticed a vehicle pass a school bus that was displaying a stop sign and flashing red lights on Route 202, according to Yorktown Police.  Officers then pulled the vehicle over and discovered that the driver, 25-year-old New York City resident Jerlin Veras, had a suspended license and was driving an unregistered motor vehicle, police said.&nbs…

Greenwich Police say they responded to a motor vehicle accident on Round Hill Road on Saturday, June 15 around 11:30 p.m. Further investigation revealed that a disabled vehicle was involved in an accident, and the driver, identified as Colin O’Toole, 34, of New Haven, was observed to have red eyes and an alcoholic odor, according to police. Man Possesses Xanax While Driving On Route 6, Yorktown Police Say A 23-year-old Mahopac resident was arrested and charged with possessing Xanax after a traffic stop on Route 6 early Wednesday morning. Shane McDonald was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and driving with a suspended license. McDonald was pulled over after police saw he only had one tail light illuminated. Police discovered his driver's license had been suspended multiple times for failing to answer a summons and that he was in possession of Xanax, a controlled substance.
