A New York Republican councilman is defiantly pushing back against Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s mandate that there should be no gatherings of more than 10 people over the holidays, despite a new spike in COVID-19 cases. A string of parties and mass gatherings at Candlewood Lake have been cited as one of the leading reasons for Danbury’s spike in COVID-19 cases. Connecticut Gov.
