Westchester's Jane McManus Named Director Of Center For Sports Communication At Marist A face familiar to sports enthusiasts has accepted a prestigious job at an area college. Following a national search, Marist College in Poughkeepsie has named sports journalist Jane McManus as the Director of the College’s Center for Sports Communication, effective as of Dec. 1. McManus, a longtime Ossining resident who was a reporter and broadcaster for ESPN, has been covering sports in New York for two decades, including 18 U.S. Opens, five Super Bowls, two NCAA Final Fours, and the inaugural season of the New York Liberty WNBA team.
