Last Full-Size Kmart Store In US, Located In NY, Set To Close: Here's Where, When
The nation's last remaining full-size Kmart discount department store is just weeks away from permanently closing, according to a new report.
The New York store, located on Long Island, will close on Sunday, Oct. 20, a store employee told NBC affiliate WJAR in Providence on Sunday, Sept. 22.
The store is in Bridgehampton on Montauk Highway (Route 27).
A smaller format store in Miami, Florida remains open, the report said.
Kmart operated around 2,500 stores at its peak in the early 90s, according to government filings. It merged with Sears in 2005.

Long Island resident Joseph Malvasio, age 65, of Bridgehampton and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is named in an indictment unsealed by the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District on Thursday, Aug. 10.
According to prosecutors, Malvasio conspired with 57-year-old Gregg Marcus, of Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, to run an advance-fee scheme through their business, Global Capital Partners Fund LLC.

These NY Zip Codes Among Top 10 Most Expensive In US, New Report Says
Four zip codes in the Northeast rank in the Top 10 for most expensive in the United States, according to a brand-new report.
The rankings, published by CNBC, were determined by median home sale prices.
Three of those four zip codes are on the east end of Long Island, led by No. 2 Sagaponack (11962), which the report says has a median home sale price of $6,972,500, behind only No. 1 Atherton, California (94027), which is $9 million.

Equinox Fitness Co-Founder Lists Armonk Estate For $8.8M
The co-founder of luxury fitness company Equinox has listed his Westchester mansion for $8.8 million.
Vito Errico, a former Bridgehampton resident, designed the custom-built Armonk estate in collaboration with in-house Equinox designers, Realtor.com reports.
Built in 2006, it features a combination of glass, stone and wood.
The six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom, 11,423-square-foot mansion is on 2.65 acres of property, according to its Houlihan Lawrence listing.
