Eight Northern Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
New York State Police troopers arrested 22 motorists for alleged impaired driving.

On Friday, Sept. 13, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Joseph M. McGovern, 34, of Cortlandt, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Albany Post Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
