Katonah's Harvey School To Host Hockey Playoffs

KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Harvey School's Evarts Ice Rink in Katonah will play host to the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) hockey playoffs with a semifinal game on Thursday, Feb. 20 as well as the championship game on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Harvey is one of six teams competing in the FAA and the four teams that finish atop the standings advance to the playoffs. 

The Harvey squad is currently 8-8 on the season and 1-3 in league play. They'll have to win against King on  Wednesday, Feb. 12, if they hope to advance to the playoffs. 

Should the Cavaliers advance, they will likely play their semifinal game at Rye County Day School as the No. 4 seed. 

The puck will drop on the semifinal hosted at Harvey at 3:45 p.m.  The championship game is scheduled to start on Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. 

Admission to both games is free. 

The Harvey School is at 260 Jay St. in Katonah.
