LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- John Jay High School's varsity hockey team fell to Suffern, 4-2, in a battle of defending sectional champions on Saturday, Nov. 30, according to LoHud.com.

Suffern jumped out to a 3-0 lead before John Jay's Michael Redgate netted two goals to bring the Indians within one goal, LoHud.com said. 

Suffern scored the final goal in the closing moments of the second period to put John Jay away, according to LoHud.com.
