Playing the late game on the second day of the White Plains Thanksgiving Tournament at Ebersole Ice Rink, Harvey got a huge game from junior forward Keith Lambert.
Selected player of the game, Lambert earned the honor after scoring four goals for Harvey. He has now registered five goals in Harvey’s first two games of the three-day tournament that concludes Sunday night.
Seniors Corey Eisenband, Robbie Van Raamsdonk and Curtis Rattner contributed two goals apiece. Eisenband picked up two assists while Van Raamsdonk and Rattner each had an assist.
Junior goalie Mark Siegel made seven saves. Fellow junior Marcus Plummer saw some action at net and made four saves.
Saturday’s early morning game saw Horace Greeley pick up a 4-1 win over a team comprised of players from Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville. In the late afternoon game, Clarkstown defeated Monroe-Woodbury. In the 6 p.m. game, White Plains was a 3-1 winner over Stepinac. The holiday tournament wraps up Sunday with a full slate of games. Clarkstown takes on Eastchester/Tuckahoe/Bronxville at 8 a.m. Stepinac and Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry match up at 4 p.m. Greeley faces off against Monroe-Woodbury at 6 p.m. while Harvey battles White Plains at 8 p.m. to close out the three-day tournament.
