Fox Lane Baseball Struggles, Falls at Harrison

HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison High School’s baseball team crushed visiting Fox Lane, 10-4, on an overcast day Tuesday.

The Huskies teed off on Fox Lane’s pitchers throughout the afternoon. Starter Julian Haddad gave up six earned runs on eight hits in three innings.  Henry Jacobs then came in and gave up three earned runs on two hits in just one inning of work. He also walked three batters. Nick Tortorella fared slightly better as he gave up just one run on two hits in the final two innings.

The Foxes, normally an efficient and potent offense, managed to accumulate some hits and runs, but left 14 runners on base, including bases loaded in both the fourth and fifth innings.
