The board announced its unanimous selection of Manno last week in an email to the community. Manno, who earned board members' support following a months-long search to fill the post, must be appointed by a formal vote in order to make the change binding.

The board is scheduled to meet and vote on the appointment at 6 p.m. at Fox Lane Middle School's Little Theater. Soon after, the board will take a break and a public reception will be held. The board is scheduled to reconvene its meeting at around 7 p.m.
