POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Bedford Central School District, led by Superintendent Jere Hochman, is seeking opinions and feedback from the community.

Having completed a telephone survey of 500 district residents, the school district’s “Future Focus” opinion survey is online and accessible for completion.  District residents can find the link to the survey on the district’s website at www.bcsdny.org   or go to www.justafewmorequestions.com/bedfordcentral.

This year’s survey includes several benchmark questions that have been on surveys in previous years as well as questions about the school budget, the tax levy, and the citizen committee’s work on the capital plan.

The Board of Education will hear a report on the results of this year’s survey at its meeting on Nov. 30.  This will be followed by two Future Focus Community Engagement sessions at Fox Lane High School on the evening of Dec. 5 and the morning of Dec. 6.  Participants will be able to provide insights and to engage in conversation about district planning with others.  These sessions allows participants to hear multiple perspectives on topics and provides the Board of Education and district leaders with insights on many issues.
