Westchester Teen Faces Charges After Driving BMW Into Duck Pond

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- An Ossining teenager was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, a violation, after losing control on Bungalow Road and driving his BMW into Duck Pond in Croton Wednesday afternoon.

Elijah Parker, 18, was able to escape the car unharmed.

The vehicle was fully submerged in the pond by the time first responders arrived, according to the Croton Fire Department.

The Croton Police Dive Team arrived on the scene to confirm there were no other occupants in the vehicle and to connect the vehicle to a tow truck, according to the Croton Fire Department.

Bungalow Road was closed for two hours while the car was pulled out.
