BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A 68-year-old Newtown man was arrested recently in Bedford and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to state police.
Behroz K. Dilemani, of Newtown, Conn., was charged with misdemeanor DWI following an arrest on the evening of Dec. 26, according to state police in Somers. Troopers reported that Dilemani was found to be intoxicated after he was pulled over for speeding on I-684 in Bedford.
"Dilemani provided a positive breath sample which yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.16 percent," according to state police. Dilemani is set to appear in the Town of Bedford Court on Jan. 9.
