Six Pets Killed As Fire Destroys Bedford Home

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Six pets were killed as a fast-moving fire destroyed a house in Bedford on Friday.

Five cats and one dog were killed in the blaze at 22 Turtlepond Lane which broke out just before noon.

Departments from multiple municipalities in Northern Westchester battled the blaze for hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
