Colarossi was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, as well as leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident, operating a vehicle without insurance and failing to yield right of way, according to police.
Officers were investigating an auto accident near 2000 Commerce St., when the defendant allegedly failed to yield right of way, which cause the accident, then left the scene, reported police.
Colarossi was placed under arrest and was released on his own recognizance, but is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on June 18, according to police.
