Driver Won't Be Charged After Hitting Bedford Skateboarder

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A 59-year-old Bedford Hills woman will not be charged after hitting a skateboarder with her SUV on Route 117 on Monday, according to LoHud.com.

The 17-year-old skateboarder was in stable condition in the intensive care unit at the Medical Center in Valhalla. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, LoHud.com reported. 

Witnesses said the boy was wearing dark clothing and was skateboarding in the travel portion of the road, according to LoHud.com.
