Car Crashes Into Building In Bedford Hills Shopping Plaza

BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. -- Three people suffered minor injuries on Friday when a car crashed into the Cambareri Shopping Plaza at 760 Bedford Road (Route 117) in Bedford Hills, just south of the Bedford Diner.

First arriving units from the Bedford Hills Fire Department located one person still inside the vehicle when they arrived at the scene of the accident at around 1:30 p.m.

Crews immediately assisted EMS with the removal of the person, the Bedford Hills FD said. All three injured parties were treated by EMS, none were transported to the hospital. 

Assistant Chief Jason Nickson said the building was checked by the Town of Bedford Building Department and the damage was deemed cosmetic, with no major structural damage.

The building is home to a nail salon, a fireplace and chimney business and a hair salon.
