The intersection of Adams and School streets in Bedford Hills may not look the prettiest, but at least cars will be able to get through quicker.
Workers from Con Edison Inc. completed a gas main replacement at that section of Adams Street Thursday afternoon. Workers began work about a week ago.
Traffic was slowed down slightly as flaggers directed cars to one side of the road. But things should return to normal, according to Bob Gozzo, a subcontractor with Bibeau Construction in Nanuet.
Were going to backfill it and restore temporarily, Gozzo said. After that, well repave the spots we dug up.
Chris Gatti, an Ossining resident, said he didnt mind the small traffic delay.
Theyve got a flag guy out there and hed doing a good job, Gatti said. Its not that bad.
