Woman Spots Monster Mushroom In Bedford

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Carol Bloom Stevens recently saw a huge surprise from Mother Nature --a giant mushroom.

She came across the mushroom this week, while she was out walking her dog "Sky" in the grass on the side of the road.

"It is so striking when you see it up close. I think it is a form of mushroom but when I 'Googled' it, I could not find a photo that looks like this one. (It's) hard to believe that someone didn't create this from a lump of clay. Mother Nature gets all the credit," she said.
