WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several accidents slowed down the morning commute on Friday.
An accident blocked the left lane on southbound I-684, resulting in stop-and-go traffic in the Katonah area.
There were also delays on the southbound Saw Mill Parkway in Yonkers near Exit 6 after a vehicle overturned on the exit ramp around 7:35 a.m.
The 7:30 a.m. I-684 accident, in the area of Route 35 (Exit 6), resulted in heavy delays up to Route 116 (Exit 7).
There were also delays on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway after an 8 a.m. accident near North Street (Exit 25) in Harrison.
Just a bit north, a 7:35 a.m. accident was reported on southbound Route 100 at Primrose Street in Somers, with delays back up to Route 138 (Goldens Bridge Road).
