Haller, who will graduate in May, was a key player on defense for the Blue Devils, who advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.

The Duke University staff presented the Coaches Award to Haller and fellow senior Nicole Lipp.  A four-year starter on defense, Haller completed her career helping lead Duke to 41 shutouts. Duke’s defense tallied six shutouts in 2012 as Haller saw action in all 23 contests.

Earlier this winter, Haller earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the third straight year. A Hudson Valley Athletic League All-Star in soccer for The Harvey School, Haller played left outside back for Duke.

The Blue Devils advanced to the Elite Eight in 2012 with a 15-6-2 overall and 5-3-2 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference.  In 2011, Duke lost Stanford in the NCAA championship game, 1-0.

A 2009 alum of The Harvey School, Haller will graduate from Duke next month with a degree in History and African American Studies.
