Forecast Closes Northern Westchester Schools Early

The forecasted snow for Northern Westchester has caused some schools to announce an early dismissal for Wednesday.

- The Katonah-Lewisboro School District will dismiss early Wednesday. The middle school will dismiss at 10 a.m., the high school at 11 a.m. and the elementary school at noon.

- The Westchester Exceptional Children's School in North Salem will dismiss at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

- Westcop Therapeutic/Head Start in Granite Springs has no transportation for Putnam students for Wednesday.

- Yorktown Assembly of God has cancelled all family night activities including all adult bible classes, royal rangers and missionettes.

- Sunshine Pre-School in Yorktown Heights is closed Wednesday.

- North Salem Central School District will dismiss early Wednesday.The elementary school will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., the middle school and high school at 10:30 a.m.

- Yorktown Head Start is closed Wednesday.

- Our Montessori School in Yorktown will dismiss at noon Wednesday. There are no afternoon classes. 

- Yorktown Central School District will dismiss early Wednesday. The high school will dismiss at 10 a.m., the middle school at 10:45 a.m., the Crompond school at 11:30 a.m. and Mohansic and Brookside schools at 12:15 p.m. Afternoon kindergarten and all after school and evening activities are cancelled.

- Somers Central School District will dismiss early Wednesday. The high school will dismiss at 10:30 a.m., the Primrose school at 11 a.m., the middle school at 11:30 am. and intermediate school at noon. 

- The Lakeland Central School District (including St. Columbanus) has cancelled all after school and evening activities. Copper Beech Middle School at 1 p.m. Wednesday. 

- The Garden Road School in Crompond has early dismissal for their elementary students between 12 and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
