Downed Poles, Wire Cause Route 9A Closure; Delays On I-684

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Drivers are facing major delays and closures in Northern Westchester Thursday.

Route 9A is closed in both directions in Buchanan because of downed poles and wires.

The closure is between Rock Ledge Avenue and Craft Lane and was reported at 10 a.m.

Road work and pot hole repairs have resulted in heavy traffic on southbound I-684.

Stop-and-go traffic has been reported south of Exit 3 (Armonk).
