Lisa Douglas will face off against Peter Michaelis for the Republican nomination for  the Westchester County Board of Legislators' District 2, which includes Lewisboro and Pound Ridge, in a primary election on Tuesday.

Douglas will face Peter Michaelis, who received the Republican Party nomination, for the opportunity to run against incumbent Democrat Peter Harckham in November’s general elections. However, Douglas garnered enough petition signatures to force a primary. Micahelis also has the Conservative Party nod.

We sat down with both candidates and asked them five questions about their visions, qualifications and goals and why they think they’re best suited to take on Harckham in November’s general elections.
