Do You Know the Famous Fox Lane Alumni?

MT KISCO— Vincent Louis Briccetti, a United States district judge, use to roam the halls of Fox Lane High School when he was a student there in the 70s.

Briccetti was born and raised in Mt Kisco. He attended Fox Lane High School before enrolling in Columbia University. After attaining his bachelor’s degree in History from Columbia in 1976, Briccetti entered Fordham University School of Law. He graduated with a degree in law in 1980.

After school, Briccetti worked as a law clerk for John M. Canella, U.S. district judge for the Southern District of New York.

After working in private practice for two years, Briccetti became an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District U.S. Attorney’s Office. He eventually returned to private practice and opened his own law firm in White Plains.

In 2010, Briccetti was nominated to a judicial seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. In April of 2011 his nomination was confirmed and he received his judicial commission on April 14.
