BEDFORD, N.Y. A silent art auction at Fox Lane High School, which was originally scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m., has been postponed due to difficulties from last Saturdays snowstorm. A make-up date has yet to be announced.
Due to the challenges that the recent storm has presented the community, and the continuing recovery efforts, FOMA (Friends of Music and the Arts) and CEF (Community Education Foundation) have decided to postpone Thursdays Art Auction, said Paul Tooker, Bedford's K-12 Coordinator for Performing Arts, in an announcement.
The FOMA/CEF-sponsored event was intended to raise money that would allow for access to the outdoor patio, courtyard and sculpture garden where students creative efforts would be displayed.
