What's Happening This Weekend in Bedford?

BEDFORD, NY—Amidst all of the potential snow we may have this weekend, the last weekend of October will hold great events in the Bedford hamlets.

-Friday night, the Katonah Library will have their Dia de los Muertos fundraiser, a celebration of the Mexican holiday and culture. The night begins at 7:00 PM.

-The Fox Lane High School Players hold their Haunted House on Friday night, beginning at 6:00 PM

-On Saturday, the Katonah Elementary School Halloween Fair will combine with the Katonah Halloween Parade and provide a “double feature” of sorts. The Elementary school will have its fair between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring the Haunted Hallway, a face painting table from the Katonah Museum, and games and crafts.

The parade will begin from the Katonah Elementary School at 10:30 AM, and will last until the fair begins at 11:00 AM when the school opens its doors. According to the Katonah Chamber of Commerce, Katonah Avenue and some surrounding roads will have Halloween-based happenings, titled “Halloween Treats Downtown.”
