What's Happening Around Bedford This Weekend

BEDFORD, N.Y. – A toddler story time, an American roots music festival and a farmers' market are among the events happening around Bedford this weekend.

Friday, June 29

Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m. This storytime event is for children ages 2 through 3 with their caregivers. Kids can enjoy songs, stories and a craft. Registration is required. Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road, Katonah.

Fox Lane High School report cards will be mailed Friday.

Saturday, June 30

John Jay Homestead Farm Market: 9 a.m. The market will offer seafood and prepared foods as well as an assortment of handcrafted condiments and local and regional products. Visitors can enjoy the Homestead's guided tours offered during market hours. John Hay Homestead State Historic Site, 400 Jay St., Katonah.

American Roots Music Festival: 12:30 to 10 p.m. Come to Caramoor to enjoy an all-day American roots music festival. Evening performances include Hot Tuna Acoustic and the David Bromberg Quartet. Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah.

Sunday, July 1

Hot Rhythms on Ice: Free Open House for Skaters:10 a.m. Join Hickory Hill Figure Skating Club for skating to fun music, free demonstrations and instruction and a chance to meet Olympic and international competitors. All children must be accompanied by a skating adult. Bring your own skates. Maxwell Evarts Memorial Rink, Harvey School, 240 Jay St., Katonah.

Open Days Program Garden Tour in Bedford Hills: 10 a.m. Explore the private garden of Phillis Warden in Bedford Hills, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Fee is $5. Warden Garden, 531 Bedford Center Road, Bedford Hills.
