Bedford, NY-- When your young student gets home from school, or is looking for something to do during down time on a weekend or holiday, tell him or her to put down the video game controller and pick up the paintbrush. Sarah Miller, the manager of the Katonah Art Center, has an idea to try this weekend.
"Did you know it is always best to draw and paint with your artwork on an easel upright at eye-level," she said. "This perspective gives proper measurement and equal views. This opposes drawing flat, which makes the bottom of the piece appear closer and the top further away."
