Funeral Scheduled for Member of Second Fox Lane Graduating Class

A funeral is scheduled Saturday for Rosemarie Mauro Greenbaum after she died Saturday at the age of 71, following a three-year battle with endometrial cancer.

 

Greenbaum was born in Mount Kisco on May 22, 1940, and was the youngest child of Florence and Frank Mauro. She had three older brothers named Vince, Frank and Bob.

 

Greenbaum was a member of the second graduating class from Fox Lane High School in Bedford Hills before moving on to the Wood Secretarial School in New York. She worked for an electronics firm in Mount Kisco after graduating from secretarial school and married David R. Greenbaum, of Mount Kisco, on July 23, 1960. They had been seeing each other for five years prior to their marriage.

 

Greenbaum was an avid golf fan and began participating in annual golf events with her friends after her children grown up.

 

She is survived by her husband, David, now of White Stone, Va.; her son, Kurt; daughter-in-law, Janis; and grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew, of Chesterfield, Mo.; and her son, Steven; daughter-in-law Danielle; and granddaughter Madeline, of Ardsley, Pa.

 

Her wake is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home in Mount Kisco. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Francis Of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco.
