Started by Sophia Silverman in 2011; being just 14-years-old, A New Chance is now is celebrating its fifth anniversary Thursday, June 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. with a cocktail party outside on the beautiful veranda of the GlennArbor Country Club to celebrate and raise needed funds to keep it running.

Popular comedienne Christine O’Leary, who recently opened for Tracy Morgan and Sinbad, and is regularly seen at the Ridgefield Playhouse, is the host for the evening.

There will be a silent auction, plenty of appetizers, and drinks through out the evening, as well as music provided by the great, rocking band, The Shaves.

After the short live auction, there will be even more time to listen to The Shaves and dance till it ends.
