More Than 400 Students Partake In Katonah Museum Exhibit

KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Katonah Museum of Art will host an opening reception for the 33rd annual Young Artists exhibition starting on Sunday, Feb. 7.

The two-week exhibition featuring more than 400 artworks by high school students from over 40 schools, including Putnam Valley High School, in Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Fairfield counties. 

Not only do students make the artwork, they also receive a behind the scenes experience, promoting, curating and mounting the exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art alongside museum staff. 

Joseph Tuano from Fox Lane High School in Bedfords the artist behind the image on the exhibition invite. 

Entry to the Museum during Young Artists 2016, which runs until Sunday, Feb. 21, is "pay what you wish."
