The concert will be held in the Music Room at 11 a.m.
Wei-Yang Andy Lin and Kelly Yu-Chieh Lin will be the featured artists. Lin will play the viola and the Chinese Erhu and Yu-Chieh Lin will be playing the piano. The 45-minute concert will be followed by a tour of the Mediterranean-style mansion and the vast collection of fine and decorative art that Walter Rosen and his wife Lucie have amassed throughout the years.
The grounds will be open and available after the performance for those who would like to view them.
Taiwan-born Lin holds both a bachelor's and master’s degree from Juilliard School and is recognized as one of the most promising young violinists in the world.
He is a member of the award-winning Amphion String Quartet, and visited many local schools as Caramoor’s 2012-2013 Ernst Stieffel Quartet-in-Residence. On top of his accomplishments on the viola, he is a renowned professional Chinese Erhu player and has won the Taiwan National Erhu competition among other achievements.
Yu-Chieh Lin is also a Taiwan-born musician who has been performing and winning competitions since an early age. She focused her talents on piano after moving to the United States at age 13 and has since performed with orchestras around the world and studied with some of the most accomplished musicians.
Lin earned bachelor's and master's degrees and a graduate certificate from the University of Southern California. Additionally, she received her doctorate of music art from Rutgers University.
