Driver Carefully Removed From Flipped Car After Crash In Katonah

Firefighters were tasked with carefully rescuing a driver after a car flipped over during a crash in Northern Westchester.

The incident happened late Wednesday afternoon, April 19 in the hamlet of Katonah, when first responders were sent to Route 22 in the area of Duffy’s Bridge Road for a reported motor vehicle crash with an entrapped driver, according to the Goldens Bridge Fire Department.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters used Hurst tools to remove the driver from the flipped-over car carefully.

Ultimately, emergency crews were successful in getting the driver out safely, fire officials said.
