Responders made entry to the home at 198 Main Ave. in Wood-Ridge around 6 p.m., where they found the animal, sources tell Daily Voice Companies from Wood-Ridge, Lodi, Moonachie and Hasbrouck Heights responded. The school bus was carrying a group of both children and adults with special needs when it collided with a Jeep and one other vehicle on Hackensack Street at North Avenue in Wood-Ridge, sources said. The bus was evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Hasbrouck Heights and Wood-Ridge fire departments were called to the southbound side of the highway around midnight. There, they found the antique truck into the side of Miraj Corporation, an aircraft repair company, at 345 Route 17. While no injuries were reported, the impact caused significant damage to the building, the fire department said.

Girl, 16, Sexually Assaulted By Treatment Center Driver Hides In Rt 17 Dunkin Donuts: PD A driver for a local teen treatment facility sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl before she locked herself in a Dunkin' Donuts bathroom on Route 17 and got help, authorities said. Police found the girl after a security guard called them to the donut shop on southbound Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights shortly before 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4.
