Smoke inhalation claimed the life of a 68-year-old woman after a Warren County house fire Sunday night, reports say. Rohna Labruzzo was alone as firefighters responded to the blaze at her home on the 400 block of Victory Avenue in Pohatcong, LehighValleyLive said citing Warren County Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer. Authorities have identified the 32-year-old man slain at a Pennsylvania bar over the weekend as former NFL cornerback Antonio Dennard. Dennard was shot dead at Legends bar on North 5th Street Highway in Muhlenberg Township just after 3 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the Berks County Coroner's Office and a report by WFMZ. A New Jersey man was killed in a violent crash involving a tractor trailer and several cars on the PA Turnpike Friday, July 29, authorities said (scroll for photos). Body Of Missing Delaware River Swimmer Found
The body of a swimmer who went missing last week in the Delaware River was found over the weekend, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield's body was found by a park visitor around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, near Kittatinny Point within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, the outlet said. Search Launched For Missing PA Swimmer In Delaware River
National and local police agencies were searching for a 23-year-old Pennsylvania man who went missing while swimming in the Delaware River Tuesday, June 21, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield, of Stroudsburg, was swimming with two others in a section of the river with strong currents when he began to struggle and submerged near the Interstate 80 toll bridge around 8 p.m., the outlet says citing the National Park Service. Former TV news reporter Scott Babashak of Trenton died of a heart attack Friday, May 27, reports WFMZ, where he previously worked. He was 54 years old. The Hamilton native graduated from the Steinert High School in 1985, where he was president of his graduating class, his obit says. A 35-year-old Staten Island man and veteran skydiver was killed in a freak accident in Pennsylvania Monday at the same facility where a New Jersey skydiver died in April. Frank Kancso's parachute opened and stayed on, but he landed hard in the landing area at Sky’s the Limit Skydiving Center in Monroe County, according to Pennsylvania State Police and WFMZ.
