Broken Arm, Facial Injuries Reported In Paramus Crash
A crash at a busy Paramus intersection sent an occupant to the hospital with a broken arm and facial injuries, responders said. The woman was in a Honda CRV that broadsided a Tesla at Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. Another occupant and a small dog in the Honda escaped injury. The Tesla driver sustained a head injury but refused transportation. An SUV toppled a traffic light pole in a mid-afternoon multi-vehicle crash at a busy Paramus intersection. A young woman driving a Toyota that got the worst of it was OK after the collision involving another SUV and an NJ TRANSIT bus at Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue/Grove Street shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4. Out-Of-Control SUV Smacks Into Garage, Fence, Gate In Paramus
No injuries were reported when an SUV damaged a Paramus homeowner's garage, gate and fence. The Kia Sportage entered the home's West Midland Avenue driveway off the corner of Paramus Road and kept going, clipping the corner of the three-car detached garage and ramming the fence, around noontime Wednesday, Oct. 5. Bicyclist Struck By SUV Seriously Injured In Paramus
An SUV struck and seriously injured a bicyclist who cracked the vehicle's windshield Thursday on Paramus Road in Paramus. He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after being struck just south of West Midland Avenue. The visibly distraught driver remained at the scene and was hospitalized, as well. A flatbed tow truck lifted the SUV off the damaged bicycle and removed the vehicle from the scene. Paramus police and EMS responded, along with an ambulance from HUMC and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital. Boyd A. Loving contributed to this account.

: Elderly Driver Hospitalized After Paramus Crash
PARAMUS, N.J. -- The elderly driver of an SUV was hospitalized with injuries that responders said weren't life-threatening after a Friday morning crash in Paramus. The other driver apparently wasn't injured. Both the Toyota SUV and Mercedes sedan involved in the crash at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue were removed by flatbed tow truck.
