The community is mourning the loss of a 32-year-old Cedar Knolls woman who died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13. Brittany McGuinness was born in Ridgewood. She moved to Paterson and later Wayne, graduating from Wayne Hills in 2005, her obituary says. Brittany's love and ability for music was part of her identity, according to her obituary. Indian Hills HS Athlete Remains In Hospital 2 Months After Pancreatic Soccer Game Injury
Tuesday marked exactly two months since the injury that changed everything for Indian Hills High School sophomore Antonio Iapicca. Antonio, 15, was playing his heart out in a soccer game against Wayne Hills on Sept. 19, before he was kneed in the abdomen so hard he suffered a severed pancreas. The teen was admitted to The Children's Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he remains today. Wayne’s Greg Olsen Could Become NFL Man Of Year
WAYNE, N.J. – Former Wayne Hills standout and current Carolina Panther Greg Olsen has been nominated for Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, again. The NFL star was nominated in 2016 as well, and came in third behind co-winners New York Giant Eli Manning and Arizona Cardinal Larry Fitzgerald. The award recognizes an NFL player for excellence on and off the field, and each team nominates a player who has had a significant positive impact on his community.
