'He Was In My House!': Burglary Suspect Caught Running From Bergen County Home, Police Say A homeowner’s frantic chase helped police in one Bergen County town track down three burglary suspects who allegedly broke into his house in broad daylight and made off with stolen property, authorities said. Little Ferry officers responded to 16 Washington Ave. around 1:05 p.m. on Monday, March 10, after receiving reports of a burglary in progress, according to Little Ferry Police Chief James Walters.
