A crash on Route 78 resulted in serious injuries and a traffic diversion early in the morning on Friday, Oct. 7, state police said. The crash, which involved serious injuries, occurred in the eastbound lanes near milepost 24.8 in Tewksbury just before 6:10 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com. Traffic was being diverted from the area for the investigation as of 10 a.m., Curry said. A serious crash caused multiple injuries and shut down several lanes on Route 287 in Morris County, developing reports say. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes near milepost 41.7 in Parsippany shortly before 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. Two adults and a child suffered serious injuries, the initial report says. State Police and two ambulances were called to the scene. A typically busy stretch of Route 9W will be closed just north of the New York State border on Saturday, authorities warned motorists in northeast Bergen and Rockland County. Overturned Tractor Trailer In Hardwick Backs Up Route 80 Westbound
All lanes were shut on Route 80 westbound after a tractor trailer overturned in Hardwick near the Worthington State Park exit Friday evening. Road Closure Alert During Resurfacing Issued In Rockland
Motorists planning on traveling through Clarkstown this week may expect delays as contracting crews get set to begin a road resurfacing project. The Rockland County Highway Department issued an alert on Tuesday advising that beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, roadwork will be performed along West Clarkstown Road from Red Hill Road to Carnaby Court. Serious Crash Causes Lengthy Delays On PIP
This story has been updated. A serious motor-vehicle crash caused delays of a half-hour or more on a stretch of the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland on Saturday. The crash, reported shortly before noon, occurred southbound at Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road) with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays to Exit 13 (Route 202). Traffic Alert For Road Resurfacing Issued In Rockland
Expect delays in Rockland near the New Jersey border for several days as contracting crews begin several road resurfacing projects in the area.
